Peaceful and Windy Forest Audio Recordings
Over 6 years and with various portable recording rigs and microphone setups, this rich and varied forest ambience sound library includes 43 separate locations and sonic aesthetics. It was recorded in the Boreal and temperate regions of the world, in over 10 different locations and at different times of day and night.
Free for existing version 1.0 customers, updated version 2.0 comes with new locations and includes surround and ambisonic versions of some of the recordings.
Stereo, Ambisonic and Surround Forest Ambiences
While we've recorded most of the sounds in stereo, version (2.0) update also includes recordings captured with an ambisonic microphone. We deliver these recordings decoded, ready to use, in B-Format AmbiX, Stereo and Surround 5.1. See the complete file listing bellow for a detailed description of the library.
